Real Muja officially unveiled Glao to their fans on Saturday, July 13, 2024, as their new player. The youthful female club signed the Soccer Ambassador striker on June 25, but waited to present their new star to the public.
Delphine G. Glao also played for the Liberia U-17 Women’s National Team in the recently concluded WAFU tournament.
In a statement, the club said, “We would like to say welcome to the home of the ‘LIONESS,’ top striker Glao.”
The Lone Star U-17 striker signed a three-year deal, with an option for an additional year, following a successful agreement between Real Muja, Soccer Ambassador, and her agent. As the first signing for the club ahead of the new season, Delphine’s arrival addresses the critical need for a striker and aligns with the club’s ambition to win a trophy.
Sekou Munuba, CEO and president of Real Muja, said Delphine’s arrival is a big boost to his team. “We are extremely excited to have Delphine join Real Muja. She fits in very well with her personality as an excellent student with a strong parental upbringing. These qualities are very motivating for us. From a technical standpoint, it’s amazing to see her playing alongside the other talented players we have.”

“We always go for the best morally disciplined and talented players, and Delphine is definitely one of them. Real Muja has a strong recruitment policy, and her signing shows how special she is. Securing a forward to enhance our already strong group of attacking players was a key aim for this season. We are delighted to have signed a player of Delphine’s caliber this early in the transfer window.”
“I worked with her on the U-17 team and know she is an outstanding talent who is ready to make an impact for us. Her ability and desire to grow as a player will make her a great addition.”
Speaking about her move to Real Muja, Delphine said she’s happy to join a club with talented players. “I am a player who has always dedicated everything to winning. I’m ready for this challenge, to take my career to another level, and help the club achieve its goals. It is a privilege to join such a club, and I am ready to make an impact right away.”
Real Muja, who played their first Upper League season last year, surprised many by finishing in 3rd place. They hope to improve on their last season’s finish and challenge for the title.
