19-year-old Zubah, who previously featured for Mighty Barrolle and Shaita FC, is regarded as one of Liberia’s most promising young attacking talents.
Known for his pace, sharp positioning, and clinical finishing, Zubah is expected to add firepower to Al Riyadh’s frontline as the club looks to turn its season around.
Currently, Al Riyadh sits 14th on the Saudi Pro League table with just 3 points from 5 matches, and the Liberian forward’s arrival is seen as a timely reinforcement.
Zubah’s move follows that of Solomon Tweh, another Liberian footballer who joined the Saudi Pro League earlier this year a sign of the growing recognition of Liberian talent on the international football stage.
While the duration and financial details of Zubah’s contract have not been disclosed, his transfer marks an important career milestone and another proud moment for Liberian football.
The young striker now faces the challenge of adapting to a new environment and proving himself in one of Asia’s most competitive leagues.
“It’s a dream come true to play at this level,” Zubah reportedly said after his unveiling. “I’m ready to work hard and make Liberia proud.”
Zubah’s move underscores the steady rise of Liberian footballers making their mark abroad, reflecting the country’s growing influence in global football.
The Liberia Men’s National Team (Lone Star) extended heartfelt congratulations to forward Clement Zubah on his move to Saudi Pro League side Al Riyadh FC.
A statement on the national team page said, “Your hard work, dedication, and talent continue to make Liberia proud. We wish you great success as you begin this new chapter in your career keep shining and flying the Lone Star high!”
