Saclepea City — A Saclepea businessman, Oldpa Koah, has provided more than $12,000 USD in financial support to universities students from District 7 and invested in local infrastructure and community projects across the district.

Koah’s donations include direct cash payments, full tuition coverage for several students, and building materials such as cement and zinc bundles for churches, schools, and private homes.
At AME Zion Extension in Ganta, Koah paid full tuition for two students and gave $50 each to 11 others; local officials estimate the total support related to Zion exceeded $1,200. He also assisted more than 25 students at United Methodist University (UMU) and plans to extend full-fee support to about 80 students at Nimba University next semester.
“We believe in investing in our young people they are our future leaders,” said a Saclepea City business man Oldpa Koah. “We expect discipline and focus from the students, and we urge them to remain drug-free and committed to their studies.”
Beyond education, Koah’s is carrying out community development projects, including construction of community guest houses, installation of water pumps, and donations of building materials to churches, Schools, Women organizations and residents.
The Saclepea business man Oldpa koah also plans to support a local business, schools and other initiatives aimed at youth development.
Koah said the donations respond to appeals from students and reflect his commitment to giving back when his businesses prosper.
“Education is one of the greatest investments we can make in our young people,” he said. “Whenever God blesses my business, I will continue to extend a helping hand to students from District 7 so they can pursue their dreams.”
Beneficiaries at AME Zion Extension in Ganta, Nimba County and Liberia International Christian College (LICC) and the Nimba County University expressed gratitude for the timely assistance, saying it helped cover tuition and other educational expenses.
Students and community leaders urged other citizens and business leaders to emulate Koah’s example by investing in Liberia’s future leaders.
Koah is recognized in District 7 for his ongoing support of youth development, sports, and educational initiatives. His latest donations reinforce his commitment to expanding access to higher education and promoting positive behavior among young people in Nimba County.
