MONROVIA – The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) has launched a short-term employment initiative aimed at providing university graduates, university students and students from technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions with valuable workplace experience as part of its commitment to youth empowerment and workforce development.

The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice by offering participants hands-on experience in various departments of the Corporation.
Through the program, young Liberians will have the opportunity to develop practical skills, gain professional exposure and strengthen their readiness for the increasingly competitive job market.
LWSC Management said the initiative reflects the Corporation’s continued investment in developing Liberia’s human capital, emphasizing that empowering young people with practical work experience is essential to preparing the next generation of professionals.
According to the Corporation, the short-term employment program not only equips participants with technical and workplace competencies but also allows them to contribute meaningfully to the operations of the country’s water utility while learning from experienced professionals.
