The incident occurred as Tokpah traveled from Ganta toward Monrovia. Several Ganta business owners have shut down their shops in mourning, shedding tears over the irreplaceable loss of one of their own.

A devoted member of the Methodist Church family, Tokpah’s passing has also drawn sorrow from local motorcyclists, youths  and media community members. They gathered Saturday to honor the life cut short by Friday’s accident.

The late Tokpah made her final public appearance on Thursday, January 15, 2026  when the Ganta Business Community held a press conference to address the ongoing mistreatment they face from cross-border electricity providers.
