Monrovia — Mr. Alexander B. Cummings on Tuesday served as keynote speaker at the Seventh-day Adventist High School (ELWA), where he delivered an inspiring message centered on servant leadership, integrity, and the critical role of young people in shaping Liberia’s future.
Addressing the newly elected student leadership, Mr. Cummings encouraged them to lead with humility and a heart of service. He reflected briefly on his own student leadership journey, noting that he once served as Senior Class President at the College of West Africa (CWA).

Mr. Cummings emphasized that true leadership is built on three pillars: hard work, honesty, and integrity. These attributes, he noted, are not only essential for personal success but are also foundational for anyone seeking to make a meaningful difference in society.
“I thank God for blessing me and making me who I am today,” he told the students, urging them to rely on faith, purpose, and consistent effort as they pursue their ambitions. He further stressed that Liberia’s future rests heavily on the shoulders of its young people, reminding the students that their generation has a significant role to play in transforming the nation.
He extended gratitude to the administration of SDA High School for the invitation and for their commitment to educating and molding Liberia’s youth. Mr. Cummings closed by wishing the students well in their academic journey and future leadership endeavors.
