Liberia: BMMC Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Employee Recreation Hub; Workers Union Applauds Efforts

KINJOR, Grand Cape Mount – Bea Mountain Mining Corporation (BMMC) marked the beginning of the year by unveiling a modern employee recreation center in Kinjor, Darblo Clan, Gola Konneh District, Grand Cape Mount County.

The facility boasts a fully equipped gymnasium, a dynamic table tennis center, basketball courts, a spacious hall, and dedicated offices for the workers’ union leadership, among other amenities.

During the official dedication on Monday, January 1st, 2024, BMMC’s Operations Manager, Engin Turhan, expressed his pride in witnessing the official opening of the center, emphasizing its accessibility to the entire workforce.

“It’s an honor to be here tonight alongside our entire workforce. This recreation center will be a hub for creating lasting memories,” Turhan stated.

He took the opportunity to extend warm holiday wishes to BMMC’s workers, expressing gratitude for their unwavering dedication, which ensures the mine’s seamless operations.

Additionally, employees from Bea Mountain Mining Corporation (BMMC) / Construction and Mining Contractors (CMC) commended the company for this initiative, assuring management that the center would serve its intended purpose effectively.
