Dear Mothers,
I’m not really sure if there’s a worse feeling in the world than being genuinely hated, abused and insulted by your own children of Coalition of Democratic Change (CDC), your own flesh and blood. The people who helped bring you into this world and who is supposed to raise you to be a success, happy and healthy.
Our mothers and daughters who supposed to love you unconditionally suddenly the thugs and gangsters of CDC DONT care for you at all. When your own children of the CDC tell you that you’re not wanted, or that you should kill yourself, or calls you absolutely nasty and hurtful names like prostitute, bastard children mothers, whopojoe, and all sorts nasty words toward your womanhood, there’s no way around it affecting you, because you spoke your political views or you want to participate in the decision making of Liberia and which is guarantee in Article 15 of the Constitution of Liberia.
I am telling that is the decision they have made, to humiliate your womanhood, whether it was voluntary or not, in the last five years, they have insulted every woman that was associated with critiquing CDC’s platform or their political leader.
Women of Liberia, you are unwanted, incredibly painful, no matter whether or not they meant it at the time. Please look around and do some research, they have insulted most of your peers and daughters in and out of Liberia, they gone far insulting their Standard Bearer and Political leader babies’ mothers, called them nasty names, abusive words toward them and insulted their womanhood, just because their leader was not taking responsibility of his outside children, just because the mothers wanted redress on the children welfare.
When I see the Liberian mothers with their children, a family filled to the brim to the point of overflowing, with love, support, and care – all of the qualities that are generally associated with Mothers.
All of the qualities today are lacking in the Coalition of Democratic Change {CDC}. Most people my age have lovely memories from their childhood, full of family togetherness and fun, but when I think back on the last five years all I can remember anymore is the abusive behaviors and insults women received on a regular basis from the Coalition/Congress Democratic Change {CDC}.
But in a strange way, I’d like to thank the CDC. For conditioning the women of Liberia to become psychologically bullied, messed up from your emotional abuse. I would never wish the abuse the two young women received from CDC last week even on my worst enemy, just because they expressed their political views, but the fact is that now the institution have decided to push and silence the women with critical political understanding harder and harder every day, have them mute on their political participation in Liberia.
Your children of the Coalition of Democratic Change have organized bully as thugs and gangsters to attack, humiliate your womanhood; they do not want you to express your views on political matters in this electioneering period or right to political participation.
Even one of their female partisan was called adjective like “tribalism”,” they are always supporting one another” because she came in defense of the young women who were been bullied, insulted, humiliated, abused, threatened to silence them.
As a son, who protected women rights in Liberia, who have advocated for the gender parity bill, championed causes for affirmative action for women political participation. I have witnessed our mothers, sisters and daughters baby steps in the decision making of Liberia.
Please! The women of Liberia, you have suffered a lot in getting recognition in the body politics of our country. This is a plea; please vote for any party but not Coalition Democratic Change {CDC}.
This is a call to stand up for freedom of expression and women political participation.
