Monrovia – As the Roberts International Airport gears up to unveil its modern terminal to meet international standard, the Africa World Airline, an Airline Company operating in Liberia says it will increase flights from Liberia to other parts of the Sub-region beginning this year.

Africa World Airline is a Ghanaian airline company with its head offices in Accra, Ghana and its main hub at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
Since 2017, the airline has been operating a three times weekly flights from Accra to Monrovia.
But speaking at the one year anniversary in Liberia held at the Angler Bar on Capitol Hill recently, Africa World Airline the Head of Commercial Richard Kyereh says the Airline is going to connect Liberia to other parts of the Sub-region and not only Ghana.
“Our operation is growing bigger and our main focus is to increase connectivity within our sub-region,” Kyereh said.
After appreciating customers, Kyereh said they have decided to expand their flights to Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, Dakar, Senegal adding that passengers will also be given the opportunity to increase carriers.
Kyereh added: “Accra and Liberia route is one of the routes that Africa World Airline cherishes so much. We started on a healthful note flying three times weekly, currently, we are flying four times weekly and starting the New Year we are going to start a daily operation to Liberia.”
According to the Head of Commercial, just a year in Liberia, their operation in the airline industry in country has improved and as the result, they provide save traveling to customers.
Kyereh added that records shown that the rate of passengers recorded in Liberia for the past 12 months was encouraging and as such Liberia is being considered as one of the best since the inception of their company six years ago. The Head of Commercial of the Africa World Airline says the increase of flights will boost the country’s airline industry and also create jobs opportunities for many Liberians.
