The triumph ends years of local dominance by rival outfit Young Adidas and signals the emergence of a new powerhouse in the capital.

PSA’s remarkable championship run has quickly become one of the most talked-about success stories in Liberia’s grassroots football system.

Competing in the league for the first time, the academy defied expectations by not only winning the title, but doing so in dominant fashion.

Throughout the campaign, PSA showcased consistency, strict discipline, and an attractive attacking style that routinely overwhelmed opponents.

The team finished atop of the standings with 32 points and scored 39 goals, establishing itself as the competition’s most formidable side.

The historic achievement triggered jubilant celebrations among players, coaches, and club officials. At the center of the festivities was the academy’s founder and CEO, Ambassador Alioue Kebe, whose heavy investment in youth football development has now produced tangible results.

Visibly emotional, Ambassador Kebe described the championship as a fulfilment of the academy’s core vision.

“This achievement is the result of hard work, discipline, and dedication from everyone associated with the academy,” Kebe said. “Our mission has always been to develop young talents and provide them with opportunities to excel both nationally and internationally. This is a mission accomplished, but it is only the beginning.”

Central to PSA’s title campaign was an explosive attacking unit led by prolific forwards Mohammed S. Kallay and Theophilus K. Duo. The duo each netted 12 goals during the season, accounting for 24 of the team’s 39 goals and cementing their status among the league’s most clinical attackers.

Local football pundits have pointed to PSA’s structured approach to youth development as the primary factor behind the club’s

Fresh from securing the league title, PSA has maintained its winning form in the crucial Montserrado County third division playoffs. The newly crowned champions opened their playoff campaign with a convincing 2-0 victory on Tuesday, keeping alive ambitions of securing promotion to the Second Division.

Owned by Liberia’s Ambassador for Youth and Sports Development, Alioue Kebe, PSA was established to identify and nurture young talent.

Its rapid success comes at a time when Liberia continues to search for stronger youth structures capable of producing the next generation of Lone Star national team players.

With silverware already secured and playoff ambitions intact, Professional Sports Academy appears well-positioned to remain a major force in Liberian football for years to come.
