Monrovia – As part of an effort to promote peace and stability ahead of Liberia’s October 10, 2023 elections. The Liberia Restoration Party (LRP) has ended a three-day restoration pastoral summit praying for Liberia.

The summit, under the Theme: ‘Destroying Evil Altars’, was held from February 6-9, 2023 at the Gethsemane Prayer Garden in Upper Caldwell, Louisiana for pastors and Executive Members of the Liberia Restoration Party across the fifteen counties of Liberia.
During the end of the summit, a resolution was signed by pastors who attended the event that they will not support politicians or individuals contesting for public office who do not subscribe to returning the country to God.
Speaking at a press conference following the end of the summit, LRP National Chairman
Gabriel H. Salee said the pastoral summit intended to seek the face of God in prayer for the total restoration and transformation of Liberia after realizing that the country over the years drifted from God.
Said Chairman Saleee: “We are resolved that if Liberia must succeed in all her endeavors and pursuit, she must return to God”.
He said they have decided as a body of Christ, under the banner of LRP to promote and usher Liberia back to God as he is their helper.
“We have decided that we will not support politicians and individuals contesting for public office who do not subscribe to the message emanating from this total restoration summit,” he emphasized.
According to him, they will not give votes to any individual who will not forest the agenda of the church and the body of Christ in Liberia.
When ask about who will head the party ticket ahead of October 10, 2023, general and presidential elections, Mr. Salee disclosed the party will next month hold its national convention as to determine who will be LRP’s, next political leader.
He said the party will only support a Godly leadership for Liberia that fears God and can surely relax on him for directing the affairs of the state.
