Liberia: China 14th Batch Medical Team Makes Donation to JFK Hospital￼
MONROVIA – China’s 14th batch medical team has made a donation of medical instruments and medicines to the JFK Hospital in Monrovia.
On Saturday Feb 26, the team headed by Dr. Wang Liang presented to the hospital management medical instruments and medicines including advanced vital sign monitors, fetal heart rate monitors, light reading films and various common drugs which are urgently needed by the hospital.
Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jerry Brown at the turnover ceremony lauded doctors of the 14th batch of China Medical Team for the donation of medical instruments and medicines to the JFK Memorial Hospital in Monrovia.
Dr. Brown also thanked the Chinese government for its consistent support to Liberia’s health system strengthening. Brown said the JFK administration is delighted with the highly quality medical services being provided daily by the China Medical Team at the hospital, and assured the team that donated medicines and instruments will truly benefit the people of Liberia.
In a special statement, Chinese Ambassador Ren Yisheng, said that China will continue to actively cooperate with Liberia in the field of medical and health, and will work with the country to jointly overcome the pandemic.
Amb. Ren commended the medical team for its contribution to the country’s medical and health care delivery system.
H.E. Ren Yisheng, including the Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy Li Jiang, and all members of the medical team, CEO of JFK Hospital Dr. Brown and other leading members of the hospital attended the ceremony.
