Monrovia – The Kids’ Educational Engagement Project (KEEP) will be having its First Annual Charity Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 7:00 at the Monrovia City Hall.
Established in 2014 during the Ebola outbreak, KEEP has over 5,000 students and since then, has been engaged in several activities that support the education sector in Liberia.
KEEP is a local charity organization that supports educational activities in Liberia. With focus on creating a culture of reading among young learners by establishing safe, conducive reading spaces, provision of educational supplies to under-served communities and public schools as well as skills training.
The organization hopes to establish three more reading rooms in 2017 in Grand Gedeh, Gbarpolu and Montserrado Counties.
Funds raised from the charity dinner will go towards the establishment of these reading rooms in the three counties.
