The collaboration introduces Rapid Transfers with BnB through UBA, a platform that allows customers to send and receive money seamlessly to over 30 countries across Africa, including Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Senegal, Uganda, Rwanda, and Mali, as well as destinations in China, the United States, and Europe.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Ayokunle Olajubu, Managing Director of UBA Liberia, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to supporting innovative partnerships that add value to its customers.

“We promise to keep our side of this mutually beneficial initiative. This is only the beginning, we intend to introduce more innovative products that will serve our customers better,” he said.

For David Ojo, Managing Director of BnB, the launch is a milestone in a relationship that has spanned five years.

He praised UBA for pioneering the initiative in Liberia.

UBA started the ideology of BnB here, and we thank the Bank for its unwavering support. Today, UBA customers can now enjoy zero charges when using the BnB platform, with more financial service programs to follow. Push-and-pull transactions will soon be launched, and we believe this collaboration will only grow stronger,” Mr. Ojo stated.

Joseph Sando, UBA’s Head of Corporate Banking, described the partnership as a step towards financial integration across the continent.

“With this collaboration, our footprint can be felt anywhere. We are confident that it will pay off well for our customers, and our marketing team is ready to ensure that these services reach every corner of Liberia,” he emphasized.

Also speaking, Idiatou Dialloh, BnB’s Regional Marketing Manager, highlighted the community benefits of the partnership.

“This collaboration brings services closer to the people. We are hopeful of a long-term partnership that will continue to meet the financial needs of ordinary Liberians,” she noted.

The partnership makes UBA branches nationwide key service points for fast, reliable, and secure money transfers, strengthening Liberia’s participation in regional and global financial networks.
