One of the children in our Community wondered as to why there were many religious institutions in our Community but there continues to be many problems in the midst of plenty praying. The child was referring to the contradiction about how Our Creator answers prayers but prayers about problems in Our Community were not being answered. The child with kindergarten education was wondering about the same contradiction that the July 26 Orator was wondering about: the contraction of not practicing what one preaches. To intensify this contradiction. the Head of State declared a Prayer Holiday by Proclamation when a Fast and Prayer Day was a National Holiday in April 2025. The Head of State, acting unwisely, was providing evidence in support of the orating of the Orator on the point of not practicing what one preaches.
No wonder the people of Liberia have declared that Liberia is headed in the wrong direction (Afrobarometer, 2022). The dominant prevailing direction is at once bad and contradicting because it is poverty generating rather than poverty alleviating. This happens when the main societal problem in Liberia remains poverty generating.
The only and best way to solve this societal problem is to raise awareness among the people so that the people who love Liberia will take actions within the Rule of Law to motivate people to change Liberia from being bad prevailing to good enduring peacefully.
This is at once the only and best way to change the prevailing societal situation from bad to good. This is the only and beat way to get persons with good records to get elected to bring in the system of Justice, the indispensable ingredient for Peace and Progress in Liberia and in any country.
