Liberia Names Ambassador to UK – Appointments At Finance Ministry

Monrovia   – President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has named Dr. Mohammed Sheriff as Liberia’s new Ambassador to the Court of St. James, London, the United Kingdom.

Dr. Sheriff, currently the Ambassador to Italy, replaces the late Rudolph P. Von Ballmoos who died last December.

The President also made new appointments affecting the Ministries of Finance and Development Planning, Foreign Affairs, and the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation.

According to an Executive Mansion release, those appointed include: Mr. Alvin Attah, Deputy Minister for Economic Management; Mr. Anthony G. Myers; Assistant Minister for Regional Sectoral Planning & Coordination                

At the Liberia Water & Sewer Corporation, Mr. Luseni Donzo was named Member, Board of Directors; while Mr. T. Catfish Brownell becomes Member, Board of Directors.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Honorable Liberian Senate were applicable.
