Kuoh To Supply Sporting Equipment to Liberian Clubs

Kuoh said the initiative is designed to ease the financial burden on club owners and help them prepare for the upcoming league campaign.

Monrovia – Cassell Kuoh, Chief Executive Officer and President of FC Fassell, has announced plans to donate football materials to twenty-five clubs ahead of the new Liberia Football Association (LFA) league season.

Kuoh, who has openly expressed interest in contesting for the LFA presidency, will distribute bibs and other essential training equipment to clubs in the men’s First and Second Divisions and the Women’s Upper League.

He said the initiative is designed to ease the financial burden on club owners and help them prepare for the upcoming league campaign.

“As part of our commitment to Liberian football, Team Cassell is excited to announce we will begin the distribution of sporting materials to clubs in the men’s First and Second Divisions and the Women’s Upper League,” Kuoh said.

“This is our way of supporting the clubs as they get ready for the new season.”

The names of the clubs that will benefit from the donation have not yet been revealed, but Emmett Glassco, president of Senior Female Professional, and James Nimene of Jubilee FC, have praised the gesture.

They noted that many clubs enter the season without adequate resources for basic football needs.

Kuoh was quick to point out that while his donation provides short-term relief, the long-term future of Liberian football depends on serious investment.

“While we hope this minor assistance provides some relief, we are pushing for more, including league sponsorship with strong financial commitments that can boost the morale and strength of our local leagues,” Kuoh stressed.

“We will continue to seek support and advocate for better leagues so our teams can compete internationally.”

The FC Fassell president is positioning himself as a voice for reform in Liberian football. With ambitions already circulating about his bid for the LFA presidency, many see his gestures as more than philanthropy; they are a signal that he is preparing to challenge the status quo and build the sport from the ground up.
