A TVET institution, EITPS Celebrates Historic First Graduation of ‘Class of Vision’ in Paynesville

Paynesville City, Liberia – August 2025 — The Expert Institute of Technical and Professional Studies (EITPS) marked a historic milestone with the graduation of its first cohort of students, known as the “Class of Vision,” during a ceremony held at Chicken Farm in Jacob Town, Paynesville City, Montserrado County.

The event celebrated the achievements of the institution’s pioneering graduates, who successfully completed programs in Information Technology, Electricity, Catering, Business Management, and other technical and professional fields.

The ceremony was attended by students, faculty, families, and community leaders.

In his keynote address, Mr. Robert Okyne, Acting Chief Executive Director of EITPS, expressed pride in the graduating class and reaffirmed the institution’s mission to empower Liberians through practical and relevant education.

“This moment is a testament to the power of vision, dedication, and hard work,” Mr. Okyne said. “EITPS was founded on the belief that technical and professional education can transform lives and communities. Today, that belief has become reality.”

Mr. Okyne urged graduates to uphold the values instilled in them at EITPS—competence, confidence, creativity—and to become agents of change in their communities and the broader Liberian society.

“You are not just graduates; you are innovators and builders,” he said. “Take the skills you have acquired and create opportunities not only for yourselves but for others. Liberia’s development depends on your contributions.”

The Acting Executive Director also extended gratitude to the families, instructors, and supporters whose encouragement helped the students reach this milestone.
