Monrovia โ Liberian international striker Kpah Sherman helped Sri Pahang defeat Kelantan United 5-1 on Sunday with a hat trick of assists and scored his 50th Malaysia Super League goal. Sherman achieved his fifty-goal milestone in the Malaysian top division after making eighty-one appearances with four different teams: Selangor II (14), Kedah Darul Aman (19), Terengganu (6), and Sri Pahang (11). He also notched fourteen assists during those 81 games.

The 19-cap Liberian international, who joined Sri Pahang on a free transfer at the start of 2023, has been in superb form since his arrival. He has scored in back-to-back games for the fourth time this season and has contributed nineteen goals (thirteen goals and six assists) in 24 appearances for Sri Pahang this season.
The former Mighty Barrolle and BYC striker is the Malaysia Super League’s fourth-leading scorer this season, as well as Sri Pahang’s top scorer and assist provider. With his 66-minute header on Sunday, the 31-year-old also closed the gap to seven goals behind former Liberian international Francis Forkey Doe, who sits ninth with 57 goals among the all-time top scorers of the Malaysia Super League.
Meanwhile, Romanian club FC Botoศani has signed Liberian attacking midfielder David Tweh. The Romanian club officially confirmed the signing on Monday, August 28. According to the club, Tweh signed a two-year deal to continue his career in South-eastern Europe. The 24-year-old last played in Israel for Hapoel Nof HaGalil, a second-division side. Tweh, an attacking midfielder with ten caps for Lone Star, is hoping to impress his new employer. The former BYC midfielder said he is determined to give his best to his new club and wants to achieve more and improve his game.
At the same time, Liberian first division club Cece United winger Moses Meah has joined the Australian side TraisKirchen after successfully undergoing a trial with FCM Traiskirchen of Austria. The deal is a free transfer with both clubs agreeing on future sale benefits, according to Cece United.
