The Homegoing of a Gentle Soul – Claude A Kellam

The Kellam, Hope, and Witherspoon families regret to announce the peaceful passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, Mr. Claude A. Kellam.

This sad event occurred on May 22, 2026, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware, USA.

Claude was the youngest child of Lorenzo Kellam and Mable Hope Kellam of Accomac, Virginia.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Nancy Witherspoon-Kellam; one brother, Lorenzo; three daughters, Debbie, Kezia, and Maggie; one son, Derrick; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. His sister, Cordia, and his sons, Claude Jr. and Reginald, aka Lee, predeceased him.

The funeral service for the late Claude A. Kellam will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 1012 N. French Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, at the appointed hour of 10:00 a.m.
