Takun J Bings Tears To Eye

The Editor,

Kindly convey to the artist, Takun J. that while watching and listening to him on FPA, his lyrics brought tears to my eyes and a deep sad feeling for my people, which moved me to communicate this message to him.

I want to encourage him to continue his pursuits … that there is no reason to fear the expression of his opinion and/or the truth through his art.  This is what democracy is all about and I am proud that we Liberians are beginning to fully grasp its meaning, slowly but surely.

Freedom of expression does not only belong to journalists.  it is for artists, individuals, groups of people, formal organizations, etc.  as long as it is executed responsibly.
