
Monrovia – Foreign Missionaries have completed a three weeks intensive oral Bible translation training for over 2 Liberians.
Seed Company through it implementing partner, New Harvest Global Ministries organized and conducted the training.
The Pidgin English speaking group and the Gbi speaking people benefited from the three week training.
Speaking at the end of the training Friday, September 22, 2017 in Lower Johnsonville, the translation Consultant of the New Harvest Global Ministries Pastor Daniel Gya said the training was in fulfillment of the gospel.
Pastor Gya urged the beneficiaries to see themselves as ambassadors for Christ in taking His message to where it has not reached.
He called on the beneficiaries to take their language as important and use it to win more souls for Christ.
He said the increase of missionaries work shows the second coming of Jesus Christ and it is his hope that God will strengthen the just trained team to propagate the message of God.
He hopes that the beneficiaries will use the training acquired to transform their nation and other parts of the world.
Pastor Gya said the training was not the idea of Seed Company and the New Global Ministries but rather the idea of God who has come to plant see in Liberia.
He said the training is the start of seed planting but believes that the seed will become a tree in the future.
The training facilitators came from the United States of America, Canada, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Cameroon and Sierra Leone.
The training beneficiaries thanked Seed Company and its partner; New Harvest Global Ministries for the training imparted to them and promised to use the knowledge to bring more to Christ.
