“Our affirmation of voluntary withdrawal from the MPC is predicated on collective consent of our votes of no confidence in the Party’s Leadership and its vision come 2017 elections,” the statement concluded.
Among other reasons for their decision, the group cited the party’s deliberate failure to drive the transition for a national Convention since it last took place in April 2011 in violation of section I, Article II of the organic laws.
The deflected MPC Partisans also named incapacitation and ineffective running of the MPC as proven by constant delinquency of County (ies) executive structures and offices in violation of Article XIII, section II-B of the party’s policy and the inability of the party political leader to retain National Executive structure and or legislative Caucus as well as its National headquarters in Monrovia.
“Therefore, let it be known to this very end with affixed signatures do hereby affirmed from the below counties and political constituents our allegiance of membership to the Alternative National Congress (ANC) on this 23rd day of June 2016,” the statement said.
Room for all
