Obituary: Death Announcement and Funeral Arrangements for Comfort Peabody

With profound sadness, the Peabody, Kandakai, Coleman and Nimley families announce the peaceful homegoing of their mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Mrs. Comfort Gloria Kandakai Peabody (April 28, 1950 – December 5, 2025).

This sad event occurred on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Baylor Scott & White Centennial Hospital in Frisco, Texas, USA.

Mrs. Comfort Peabody was predeceased by her husband S.T. Eugene Peabody, her parents Alpha and Sarah Kandakai, and her sister Rebecca Johnson.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, 10AM CST at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 420 South Country Rd 80, Prosper, TX 75078.

Memorial gifts in honor of Comfort may be donated to the following recipients:
