Monrovia – Reliable sources at the Liberia National Police (LNP) has told FrontPageAfrica that Deputy Central Bank Governor Charles Sirleaf, and Dorbor Hagba are expected to spend their second night at the LNP headquarters.

Also joining the two men for his first night is Mr. Milton Weeks, the immediate past former Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia. All three men are expected to spend the night in the same place.
According to police sources, family members and lawyers of the suspects had gone to secure their release so that they could return them on Monday, March 4 morning, but the police hierarchies didn’t see wisdom in such request.
Our reporter, who wasn’t allowed to enter the LNP headquarters, witnessed family members of Mr Weeks, including his sisters — Ms. Angelique Weeks and Dr. Ophelia Weeks — carrying food items along with them inside the police station, where he had been detained.
The Weekses are some of Liberia’s influential personalities. Ms. Angelique Weeks is the immediate past head of Liberia’s telecommunications sector while her sister Dr. Ophelia Weeks is the present head of the University of Liberia.
At the police Hqs, our reporter tried to speak with any of them but they all declined commenting.
Meanwhile our police sources have hinted that the suspects will be charged with Economic Sabotage, Theft of property and Criminal Facilitation.
They are expected to be taken to court early Monday morning.
A legal practitioner, who didn’t want his name mentioned, told this newspaper that if the police fails to take the suspect to court on Monday, the accused legal team or individual lawyers can file for the Writ of Habeas Corpus, which compels the Police to turn their living bodies over to the court on grounds that the police doesn’t have legal jurisdiction over the suspects.
