GBARNGA –Eighteen graduates of the Divine Intervention Supports and Services Entrepreneurship Training Program in Gbarnga have honored Liberia Institute for Public Administration Director General Nee-Alah T. Varpilah for fully sponsoring their second phase of training and empowering them to successfully complete the program.

The graduates, who recently concluded the advanced stage of the entrepreneurship course, described Varpilah’s intervention as timely and life changing.
According to them, they had no prior personal relationship with the LIPA Director General before his support. At a critical moment in their academic journey, when financial challenges threatened to halt their progress, he stepped forward and settled their fees in full, ensuring that their studies continued without disruption.
They explained that his generosity lifted a heavy financial burden from their shoulders and restored their confidence and determination to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.
The group pledged to utilize the knowledge and skills gained to establish viable businesses, create employment opportunities, and contribute positively to national development.
Receiving the honor, Varpilah expressed deep appreciation and humility, noting that he had not expected any public recognition for the assistance he provided.
“I am truly humbled by this gesture, and I did not offer my support for applause, but to see young Liberians advance,” he said. He added, “When I was approached about your situation, I simply saw an opportunity to invest in potential and possibility.”
Although he did not personally know the students at the time of his intervention, Varpilah emphasized that supporting educational advancement remains a responsibility he holds dearly. “I believe that empowering our youth through education and entrepreneurship is the surest path to national transformation,” he stated.
He further encouraged the graduates, saying, “Let this achievement mark the beginning of greater responsibility, discipline, and innovation in your respective communities.”
Varpilah reaffirmed his unwavering belief in Liberia’s growth through youth empowerment, capacity building, and inclusive opportunities. He urged the graduates to remain focused, resilient, and committed to translating their training into tangible ventures that will benefit both themselves and the nation.
The honoring ceremony was held on Saturday, February 21, marking the second graduation ceremony of the Divine Intervention Supports and Services Entrepreneurship Training Program in Gbarnga, and bringing together graduates, organizers, and well-wishers in celebration of achievement, partnership, and hope for a brighter future.
