MONROVIA – Former Liberia Football Association’s Executive Committee member Ansu V.S. Dulleh has officially declared his candidacy for the upcoming LFA elections, ending a six-year absence from frontline football leadership.

Dulleh, who exited the Executive Committee in 2018, told reporters that the sport is currently at a “critical crossroads” requiring experienced and strategic leadership to navigate.
Addressing the media and football stakeholders, Dulleh unveiled a platform centered on institutional strengthening, inclusive governance, and long-term development.
“I have come here today to declare my intention to contest for a seat on the Liberia Football Association’s Executive Committee,” Dulleh said. “My motivation is simple yet profound: Liberian football needs collective leadership and strategic planning to ensure progress.”
A former Chief Executive Officer of Fatu FC, Dulleh brings a wealth of administrative experience to the race.
Under the administration of former LFA President Musa Bility, Dulleh served as the Chairman on Competitions a pivotal role that placed him at the heart of domestic league organization.
Currently serving as a match commissioner, Dulleh has remained active when called upon to commission games.
Dulleh argued that his diverse background provides him with unique insight into the struggles faced by clubs, players, and match officials.
“I have lived and spent on football for decades, serving in various capacities,” he said. “Those years have given me a deep understanding of the issues confronting the progress of Liberian football.”
In a move seen as an olive branch to the current leadership, Dulleh emphasized that his return is not fueled by personal ambition, but by a desire to support the sitting LFA president Mustapha I Raji in achieving his administration’s goals.
“I am coming on board to help the current LFA president accomplish his mission that is yet to be achieved,” Dulleh stated, placing a heavy emphasis on continuity and teamwork.
If elected, he pledged to advocate for grassroots development, infrastructure investment, and improved training facilities, while fostering unity within a frequently fractured football community.
“If elected, I will stand tall in ensuring that the president of the LFA succeeds and achieves his administration’s objectives,” he assured stakeholders.
With the LFA elections fast approaching, in April of 2026 Dulleh expressed confidence that his track record would resonate with the electorate. “I am sure that Liberian football stakeholders will elect us because they know what we can do and what we have done in the past,” he concluded.
