JohnBertha Foundation Launched to Drive Community Empowerment Across Liberia

The JohnBertha Foundation was officially launched over the weekend, marking a major step forward in grassroots community development and humanitarian service.

The colorful ceremony drew an impressive gathering of community leaders, youth groups, women’s organizations, well-wishers, and residents from Logan Town and neighboring communities.

United by a shared sense of purpose, attendees came together to witness the birth of an initiative dedicated to transforming lives and restoring hope. The atmosphere throughout the program reflected unity, optimism, and a collective vision for a better future.

Delivering the keynote address, the President and Founder of the Foundation, Mother Alberta D. Cummings, expressed profound gratitude to all those who supported and attended the historic launch.

She outlined the foundation’s core mission: empowering the less fortunate, promoting access to education, uplifting women and youth, and extending care to vulnerable members of society.

According to her, the JohnBertha Foundation is more than an institution; it is a movement rooted in compassion, love, and meaningful change.

Mother Cummings further called on partners, stakeholders, and community members to actively collaborate with the foundation as it rolls out impactful programs and sustainable initiatives aimed at building stronger communities.

She reaffirmed her personal commitment to ensuring that the foundation remains a reliable source of hope and opportunity for those most in need.

The program concluded with messages of appreciation, vibrant musical performances, and renewed pledges of support from community members who welcomed the foundation’s vision.

With its official launch complete, the JohnBertha Foundation now begins its journey with a clear promise: to serve humanity and create lasting, positive impact in Logan Town and beyond
