IN FINE FORM: Liberian Forward Sylvanus Nimely Emerges as Key Figure for Kokand 1912 in Uzbekistan

MONROVIA – Liberian international forward Sylvanus Nimely is rapidly establishing himself as a fan favorite and a tactical linchpin in Central Asia, continuing his blistering goalscoring form for Uzbek top-flight outfit Kokand 1912 in the Uzbekistan Super League.

Nimely made an instant impact in his team’s latest league outing, breaching the opposition’s defense early in the opening minutes to hand Kokand 1912 a vital early lead and set the tempo for the match.

The clinical strike brings the former Lone Star youth prodigy’s tally to four goals since completing his move to the Uzbek club.

His fast adaptation to the physical and fast-paced demands of the Uzbekistan Super League highlights his growing importance to Kokand 1912’s frontline as they push for a strong position on the league table.

Since his arrival, Nimely’s sharp movements off the ball, hold-up play, and composure in front of goal have earned him a central role in the club’s offensive strategy.

His consistency in hitting the target has provided much-needed attacking bite for Kokand 1912 in a highly competitive domestic campaign.

The 27-year-old Liberian striker, who previously enjoyed spells in Europe, including stints in Russia and Croatia, looks to have found a rejuvenated rhythm in Central Asia.

His ongoing performances are not only bolstering Kokand 1912’s season ambitions but are also signaling a strong case for his continued inclusion in the Liberian national team, Lone Star, as international fixtures approach.

With four goals already under his belt and his confidence soaring, Nimely’s sharp form remains a bright spot for Liberian sports ambassadors abroad as he continues to make headlines in the Uzbek top flight.
