
Todee – At least six persons have died in a tragic car accident that occurred on Monrovia-Kakata Highway Friday afternoon. Ten persons sustained varying degrees of injuries.

The accident occurred at about 3:45 PM when a motorcyclist attempted overtaking a double cabin pickup around Todee Junction, eye witnesses said. The pickup was carrying passengers and goods in its trunk.
The remains of the deceased have been deposited at C. H. Rennie Hospital mortuary in Kakata, Margibi County, police confirmed.
The injured have been transported to Monrovia for treatment.
The deceased are yet to be identified.
Meanwhile, the Liberia National Police say they are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
