Representatives of Communities affected by commercial logging in Liberia are calling on the Government of Liberia through the National Legislators to ensure that the communities’ land rental fees arrears are appropriated in the 2023 National Budget. At the same time, they are calling for the full payment of the total amount appropriated in the 2022 National Budget and allotted in the Ministry of Finance & Development Planning (MFDP) financial payment system as part of 30% share of Land Rental Fees for communities affected by commercial logging in Liberia.

MONROVIA – The Liberian Diaspora Agriculture Group (LiDAG), a US-based Liberian organization, is set to hold its First Annual Agricultural Exposition in Liberia. The ceremony is expected to be held at the Golden Key Hotel on January 6 and 7, 2023. LiDAG, which is a registered philanthropic group, says ‘Food Sufficiency is Human Rights.
