Repair Works on ACE Terrestrial Fiber Cut in Dakar Expected to Impact Internet Connectivity in Liberia

This is to inform the public that the ACE Submarine Cable network is scheduled to perform repair work on a segment of the optical fiber cable between Dakar and Abidjan, which is Segment 2.1 of the ACE Submarine Cable Network that connects Liberia to the outside world.

The scheduled repair will be performed on 31st MAY 2024 00H01 UTC to 31st MAY 2024 10H00 UTC (10 hours duration). During these repair hours, all internet traffic transiting ACE Segment 2.1, including traffic from Monrovia, Abidjan, Freetown, Conakry and Banjul to Europe will be down.

The Cable Consortium of Liberia (CCL)’s business office and technical staff will be available to provide you with answers to any concerns, relative to this press release, you may have.
