Paynesville City – The group under the banner “Team Samuel D. Tweah for Re-election of President George Weah, has vowed to vigorously campaign to ensure the Liberian Leader wins his second-term bid in the upcoming October 10 polls.

Accordingly, the group was formulated to solidify and assist Minister for Finance, Development, and Planning (MFDP), Tweah’s campaign and mobilize Liberians to vote for President Weah to continue the developmental agenda.
The group’s chairman, Abraham B. Zarlee stating while they decided to assist Minister Tweah, simplified and displayed adoration for what they termed as the “tremendous work” the MFDP Minister has done throughout the last five years in the Weah- led administration.
He stated the free- flow of Liberia’s economy and the many development initiatives which include road connectivity, private sector investment, and economic growth are the results of the basic standards designed and implemented by Tweah.
He further stated that the Weah-led government should continue for the MFDP Minister Tweah to effectual the Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development (PAPD) to acquire its desirous achievement.
Said Zarlee, “We have followed Minister Tweah, and we have seen the level of achievements that he has helped the government make. So it was necessary to form this movement in support of President Weah in his honor.”
He emphasized, “For all of these things that are outlined here, we believe that this government deserved a second term and for the level of work Minister Tweah has done there is a need to join hands around him to ensure that this country is moving and progressing. “
Zarlee, highlighting the strategy ahead of the campaign, stated that they have started to engage community leaders, and other auxiliary groups through mobilization and awareness.
He urged Liberians to look at the potential in the administration and to validate through the elections box to allow them to finish their developmental agenda.
“Our focus is to make sure we reach across the country to ensure that we provide a reason why the President should be re-elected under this umbrella of Team Tweah, he said.
He added, “We believe the level of work the President has done and if he is allowed to serve for the second term all of those works he started from the past years he will complete them and going to do additional work for Liberians.”
