Cyprus-Based Christian Group Donates Assorted Materials to Liberia’s Blind Community

Monrovia – The General overseer of the Jesus Inspiration Christian Commission (JICC), Pastor Isaac Samuels II, over the weekend donated assorted materials to the Christian Association of the Blind.

The donation program, which was held under the theme: “We Stand for Miracle”, was held on the compound of the Christian Association of the Blind along the Robertsfield High Way.

The items donated included five bags of rice, dozens of tissue, soap, vegetable oil, clothes, toys with US$300 among other items.

Speaking in an interview with FrontPageAfrica, Pastor Samuels said he was led by the spirit of God to undertake the initiative.

“I was led by the spirit of God as a pastor and man of God to come to Liberia to have a program. And from the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, every time you go to a place is important to look for those who are needed and to help them,” Pastor Samuels noted.

The Clergyman promised to provide more support to the association to the help curtail the current challenges confronting disadvantage children of people with visual disability.

“This is my first visit in this way. Going there yesterday, I was moved to tears, seeing the state of the children and seeing what they wore. They were not well taken care off and I was really moved,” he said.

Pastor Samuels began seeking the support of international donors, partners and humanitarians who have expressed interest to support the association through his advocacy.

The General Overseer of JICC said there are plans underway to build orphanage in the country to reach out to more disadvantage youth across the country.

“Lot of people that I work with in America are interested in helping these people. People are becoming aware that there is such need in society and people are waking up to their responsibility. Liberians in the diaspora who love their country but of them have not been home for ten to twenty, but they see what happen and are interested in helping this thing,” Samuel noted.

JICC is an international church based in Nicosia, Cyprus and it is dedicated to inspired and change lives through the word of God.

JICC is also involved with charity and helping less privilege and disadvantage people around the world.
