Foday Fahnbulleh Sways Over 5,000 in Bong Mines Unto Liberty Party

Bong Mines – Liberty Party continues to gain momentum less than a year to the 2017 Presidential and Legislative elections as thousands troop into the Party nearly every week.

Political heavyweights like Musa Hassan Bility, Emmanuel Lomax and others joined the Liberty Party earlier this month, pledging support to the presidential aspiration of the Party’s Political Leader, Cllr. Charles Walker Brumskine.

Over the weekend in Bong Mines, Bong County, another popular figure crossed over to the Liberty Party at a colorful ceremony attended by Cllr. Brumskine and a host of Party officials, including Musa Bility and Emmanuel Lomax, during which time over five thousand members of the Friends of Foday Fahnbulleh, all residents of Electoral District No. 7, Bong County joined and became full-fledged members of Liberty Party, pledging their unwavering support to Cllr. Brumskine. Foday Fahnbulleh is a very popular figure and loved by residents for his strong advocacy for social justice.

Presenting the over five thousand members to Cllr. Brumskine, Mr. Fahnbulleh pledged to increase the membership base of Liberty Party in the District to over twenty-five thousand in the coming weeks.

He committed to work harder to ensure victory for Cllr. Brumskine and the Liberty Party. He expressed joy and confidence of his supporters in the leadership abilities of Cllr. Brumskine to lead Liberia to great heights.

Earlier this year, Mr. Fahnbulleh received petitions and endorsements from residents of the District to contest for the House of Representatives to represent their interests in the Legislature, an aspiration he hopes to be achieved with the Liberty Party.

Responding, Cllr. Brumskine whose speech was intermittently greeted with thunderous and joyful applause, thanked Mr. Fahnbulleh and thousands of his supporters for “making the right choice” by coming over to the Liberty Party. Cllr. Brumskine urged the gathering of cheerful supporters to ensure that District No. 7 in Bong County in particular and the entire County in general becomes Liberty Party’s base.
