World Lebanese Cultural Union Donates to Day Care

Monrovia – The World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU), an umbrella group of the Lebanese community in Liberia, has turned over assorted food and items to the Kingdom Care Community Institute in support of its early childhood education.

Some items donated to the Daycare included bags of rice, water, soap, and tissue.

Turning the items over to the school, the WLCU President, Ezzat Eid, said the items are intended to help the school, mostly the children, who are the future leaders of the country.

The WLCU President said if early childhood education is prioritized, Liberia will have a better country in terms of adequate education.”

“Our community will always stand with the Government in supporting programs and initiatives aimed at aiding the development of young people in Liberia.

“Our only request is that we should always be called upon as a community and not individuals”, he pointed out.

Receiving the items, the proprietress of the school Musu Dorley Kettor lauded the World Lebanese Cultural Union for the gesture and support to the school in times of need.
