Whein Town in Margibi County Gets First Hand Pump in 20 Years

Margibi County – Half a decade and running, the Checago Bright Foundation (CBF), Inc has not stopped doing humanitarian work for Liberia and Liberians.

Over the weekend, the CBF, Inc through its CEO, Mr. Checago Bright-Sawo and partner, S4 Infinity dedicated a modern hand-pump to the people of Whein Town in lower Margibi County.

For these people, it was their first time in twenty years to begin drinking clean and safe water. Dedicating the handhump, Mr. Jallah Kesselly, President of NOBEL Liberia Limited said ‘Water is life’ and expressed his gratitude to Mr. Bright-Sawo for his unflinching support to people in rural Liberia.

He expressed his company’s willingness to continue partnership with the foundation in making remarkable gains amongst striving citizens in sorting out some of their challenges. He however called on citizens and residents of Whein Town to maintain the facility for the good of their community.

“Government is not the answer to all of our problems,” Mr.Sawo stated, urging residents of the community to continue to join hands with the government in advancing the fast development drive of the nation.

Mr. Bright-Sawo is at the same time calling on residents of the area to maintain the project. The Checago Bright Foundation continues to touch several lives through water, sanitation and education. CBF has done projects in five of Liberia’s fifteen counties including Margibi, Bassa, Montserrado, Gbapolu and Bong.
