Philadelphia, USA – Some Liberians in the United States and Canada say they are excited and proud of one of their kinsmen in the United States who they said is doing tremendously well in seeking their wellbeing in that part of the world solving their immigration and other domestic problems.
According to a dispatch from Philadelphia, the United States, the US-based Liberians made reference of the foster son of the late Angie Brooks Randall, Voffee Jabateh who is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the African Cultural Alliance of North America (ACANA).
ACANA is a US based NGO which is serving Liberians and other African nationals in the United States providing them with the necessary assistance in their bid to stay and live in the United States and Canada.
Mr. Jabateh who is also a Christian by religion fled the Country for the United States as a result of the country’s brutal civil war in the early 1990s, and since then, according to reports has always made it his duty to providing the needy humanitarian assistance to his Liberian and African brothers and sisters through his NGO, the ACANA.
The dispatch also noted that due to Jabateh’s numerous contributions to the wellbeing of those living in the United States and Canada, his NGO’s beneficiaries say they are proud and excited to recognize his contributions made over the years, and therefore resolved to publicly express their appreciation to him.
Recently, the ACANA CEO and his delegation visited Liberia to join their fellow compatriots during the ongoing of the just ended Voter Registration exercises, where they made it their nationalistic obligation to also registered and vote in the pending October 10, 2017 elections in Liberia.
During the visit, Jabateh and his team met with several stakeholders including the Liberian Vice President, Ambassador Joseph N. Boakai, members of the Nimba County Legislative Caucus among others.
