Monrovia – Sources close to Representative Thomas Fallah (CDC-District 5, Montserrado County) have told FrontPageAfrica that the sick lawmaker is due in country Today, Tuesday January 9, 2018 contrary to wide spread rumours and speculations that that he is dead.

The lawmaker had been very ill over the past few weeks and has been absent from legislative activities.
According to Representative Saah Joseph (CDC-District 13, Montserrado County), Rep. Fallah is expected to arrive from neighbouring Cote d’Ivoire by 4:00 PM on board one of the international flights.
Rumours of the lawmaker’s death were reported on social media as he is expected to contest the Speaker post.
Rep. Fallah had had been seeking medical treatment abroad. Early this week, the House Press Bureau confirmed his illness, but said it was not as serious as was being mentioned in the media.
A statement issued by the House of Representatives Press Bureau said, Rep. Fallah could not attend the certification program at the National Elections Commission, on Thursday Jan 4, due to medical reasons.
“He travelled to neighbouring Ivory Coast on Tuesday Jan. 2nd to conduct a routine medical examination.
He had also experienced some abnormities in his waist. Neither a doctor nor a family has disclosed or indicated any critical condition of the Lawmaker as in the case reported by the Daily Observers Newspaper.”
Accompanied by his Special Assistant, Emmett Dennis, the CDC Lawmaker, is expected to return to the Country early next week, according to his Office Staff Ernest Gwehi Sharpe Jr.
Recently, The death news of Districts 4 and 12 Representatives Elect of Montserrado, Rustonlyn Suacoco Dennis and George Beyan Samah, was widely circulated on the social media.
The House Press appealed to journalists to authenticate their information before publication or broadcast.
