Monrovia – The Vice Standard Bearer of the Movement of Economic Empowerment (MOVEE), Rev. Dr. Samuel B. Reeves, Jr. has relinquished his post as Vice Standard Bearer of the party after the outcome of the October 10, 2017 Presidential and Representative elections.
Dr. Reeves has attributed his decision to relinquish his post to the outcome of the elections and has returned to his church after serving his three months’ vacation, which enable him to partner as Vice Standard Bearer of the Movement for Economic Empowerment.
In a formal communication to the Standard Bearer of the party, Dr. Mills Jones, the Providence Baptist Church Pastor said he cherish his political association with the Movee family which enables him to experience a bit of Liberian politics.
Dr. Reeves said he does not have any regrets and will never prefer to exchange that time of his life with any other activities indicating that there could not be any greater service than the opportunity to serve his country as Vice Standard Bearer of the Movement for Economic Empowerment.
The Baptist Prelate however, extended thanks and appreciation to Dr. Jones, party officials and its partisans for allowing him to serve as their partner and running mate, on what he called the best ticket in the Liberian 2017 Elections.
