Madam Brumskine speaking at the opening of the CPP campaign office in District #6 on Saturday, September 9, 2023, said Martin Kollah is the way for adequate representation inclusive of better healthcare, education, and infrastructure development in the district.
“Martin Kollah as your representative, Mr. Cummings as President, and me as Vice President, we will fight for you all to ensure a better Liberia. Though Liberians over the years keep making the same mistake over and over, and I saw that in 2017 in this district and the crowd Martin put out and was later shocked by the election result in 2017which Martin lost, so I’m calling on you all not to make the same mistake again in this coming election,” Madam Brumskine said.
Martin Saye Kollah who is the CPP Representative candidate in Montserrado Electoral District #6, also speaking, said the district is resolved to support the CPP ticket in these elections and the turn was intended to signal other contestants and current lawmakers of the district that he’s back and to deliver the district to CPP and his quest to succeed Mr. Samuel Enders who is the current lawmaker seeking reelection.
“Today we just want to send a small message in the camp of our opponents and opposition in this district just so that they can know including the current lawmaker Mr. Samuel Enders that has abandoned this district and all that he has done is to build his own institution and clinic and abandoned the district school and clinic and put his clinic in the national budget,” Kollah said.
According to Kollah: “Mr. Enders isn’t a permanent resident of District #6 but recently moved in the district two months ago from Duazon where he has been living throughout only because he wants to be elected.”
