Liberia: American-Based Organization Donates Drugs to Bong County Health Team
Gbarnga, Bong County – Direct Relief, an American-based organization, has donated huge consignment of drugs and medical supplies to the Bong County Health Team.
The drugs and medical supplies are meant to be given to citizens free of charge at various health facilities across the County.

Materials donated include: Sodium chloride 0.9%, Fluocinonide 30mg cream tube, Metformin Hydrochloride 1000mg, Abuterol sulfate 0.09mg/ and Acyclovir 200mg/500ml amongst others.
The shipment arrived in Liberia late Monday evening via the Robert International Airport.
Bong County Health Officer, Dr. Cynthia Blapooh, received the drugs and medical supplies on behalf of the county.
Dr. Blapooh thanked the American based organization for the two shipments of drugs and medical supplies sent to support the Bong County health system thus far.
She emphasized that the drugs are to be distributed among major health facilities in the county to be administered on a FREE of charge basis to the patients.
The Bong County Health Officer at the same time urged the donor to continue to buttress the government in such direction for the common good of citizens.
