Monrovia– World Girls FC secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory over defending champions Determine Girls FC to book their place in the semifinals of the LFA Orange Cup women’s category on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Tusa Field.

Goals from Mamie Kallon, Grace Kamara, Decontee Jackson, and Rebecca Tarr sealed a convincing win for the side coached by Thery Cole.

Republic FC Eliminated After Penalty Drama
Meanwhile, lower-division side Republic FC were knocked out of the tournament following a dramatic penalty shootout defeat to Kneeling Warrior at the SKD Practice Pitch.
The match ended in a thrilling 3–3 draw after regulation time, with both teams delivering an entertaining attacking display.
However, the game was ultimately decided at the penalty spot, where Kneeling Warrior held their composure to secure a 7–6 victory.
Despite the heartbreaking exit, Republic FC’s performance against an upper-division opponent highlighted their potential as they return their focus to the Lower Women League.
