The donation includes 16 sets of jerseys, 21 footballs, and 16 armbands aimed at equipping teams across the institution for the competition.

Presenting the items on Sunday at the BWI campus, Amara F. Mammy, Administrative Assistant in the Office of Rep. Gahr, said the contribution reflects the lawmaker’s commitment to youth empowerment through sports and education.

“This is my boss’s way of identifying with and supporting his alma mater. He intends to continue supporting the institution,” Mammy stated.

He noted that each of the eight departments—Agriculture, Electricity, Domestic Science, Business, Machinery, Automotive, General Building

Trade, and Electronics—will receive two sets of jerseys to ensure full participation in the league.

Receiving the equipment on behalf of the institution, Motalee Jabateh, Head of the Business Education Department, expressed appreciation for the timely intervention.

He assured that the items would be used for their intended purpose to enhance the ongoing competition.

Jabateh described the gesture as “timely and welcoming,” emphasizing its importance in strengthening student engagement in sports at the institute.
