Liberia: Pres. Boakai Congratulates Burundi On Its 63th Independence Celebration

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and people of the Republic of Burundi as that country celebrates its Independence.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, in his message to his Burundian Counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Evarsite Ndayishimiye, President Boakai on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Government and People of Burundi as they commemorate this historic event.

A Foreign Ministry release added that the Liberian President noted that Liberia and Burundi share a profound bond grounded in mutual respect, African solidarity, and a shared vision for peace and development.

“We look forward to strengthening our bilateral relations and collaborating on initiatives that promote stability, prosperity, and regional integration. May this Independence Day be marked by joy and regional reflection, and may the Republic of Burundi continue to thrive under your esteemed leadership”, he further added.

The Liberian leader then prayed that the Almighty Allah will endow President Evarsite Ndayishimiye with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his people to noble heights.
