Liberia Land Authority Receives High Integrity Performance Award From Governance Commission

Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia Land Authority (LLA) has received a prestigious High Integrity Performance Award from the Governance Commission in recognition of its commitment to institutional integrity, accountability, transparency and the promotion of good governance in public service.

The award represents an important institutional milestone for the LLA, recognizing the importance of maintaining high standards of ethical conduct, responsible leadership, institutional accountability and effective service delivery in the execution of its statutory mandate.

The recognition underscores the significance of integrity as a cornerstone of public sector performance and reinforces the need for public institutions to demonstrate transparency, professionalism, accountability and responsible management of public resources.

The award was received on behalf of the Liberia Land Authority by a delegation comprising of the Chairman of the Liberia Land Authority, Samuel F. Kpakio, Commissioner for Land Administration, Dr. Mamound Solomon, Assistant Director for Monitoring and Evaluation, Milton Nue-Manee Brown, Jr., Assistant Director for Human Resources, Joshua Toto and Media Consultant, Rhodoxon Fayiah.

Speaking to the broader significance of the recognition, the Chairman of the Liberia Land Authority, Samuel F. Kpakio, said the award serves as an encouragement for the Authority to sustain its institutional reforms, strengthen internal accountability mechanisms, improve operational efficiency and ensure that its services remain responsive to the needs of the Liberian people.

Chairman Kpakio said an institution entrusted with managing and administering one of Liberia’s most important national resources—land—integrity, transparency, and accountability remain essential to building public confidence, promoting responsible land governance, and ensuring equitable and sustainable land administration.

The LLA Chairman told the Media that the Liberia Land Authority views this recognition not merely as an institutional achievement but also as a renewed responsibility to uphold the principles of good governance and continuously improve its performance in delivering on its national mandate.

The Chairman on behalf of the Liberia Land Authority extended appreciation to the Governance Commission for the recognition and reaffirms its commitment to strengthening institutional integrity, promoting professionalism, and contributing to Liberia’s broader governance and national development agenda.

The High Integrity Performance Award is a reminder that public trust is built through integrity, strengthened by accountability, and sustained through responsible service delivery.

This is the second award won by the Liberia Land Authority since the beginning of this year.

The first award was the 2025 Excellence Performance Award.

This Award was given by the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs in April 2026.
