Grand Gedeh – Nimba County District 7 Representative and Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) Political Leader Musa Hassan Bility likened his party to a “credit union” designed to empower Liberians through tangible development projects.

Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd of hundreds gathered under a canopy of mango trees along the Cestor River – a vital waterway in Liberia’s southeastern border region, Rep. Bility outlined CMC’s vision to thousand of citizens from the county who gathered in huge numbers to welcome him to Grand Gedeh County On Friday, January 30, 2026.
‘‘We won’t just promise development in various sectors,” he declared, his voice booming over the cheers. We’ll deliver it now and voters will repay us in 2029 by granting the Citizens Movement for Change (CMC ) state power.”
He lambasted voters for past mistakes, warning against “cash-and-violence” tactics from power-hungry politicians who abandon constituents after elections. “Join us,” he urged the sea of supporters waving CMC flags “and let’s build a prosperous Liberia together.”
The event pulsed with energy, as Grand Gedeh residents, farmers, Youths and women in colorful lappas – chanted slogans and shared local palm wine, signaling strong grassroots support.
Rep. Bility emphasized that CMC’s “life-saving” activities span all 73 electoral districts but require public collaboration. “We can’t do it alone,” he said. “Welcome our empowerment programs for women, youth, and communities – they’ll transform lives before we even seek your votes.”
