The streets were lockdown with supporters singing songs of support for the ANC and promising a one round victory – a rare phenomenon in Liberia’s most recent political history.

As he took on the stage to address his supporters the ANC Political leader, Mr. Alexander B. Cummings promised to give back Liberia to Liberians.

He said it is high time for the corrupt politicians to give way for a new regime.

“I want to put the corrupt politicians on records their time is over, Liberians are taking back their country. I ask for your vote and support on October 10,” he said.

Cummings, a former executive Coca Cola boasted of coming to the presidency with an advantage of managerial experience and confidence.

“There will be no more monkey work baboon draw. We bring to the Liberian people managerial confidence to manage our country for the benefit of all of us.

“They say I am new to Liberian politics; yes I am new to corruption, I don’t owe any politician or anybody anything. I only owe the Liberian people a better life, a better Liberia.

“We are taking Liberia back for Liberians.

Today, we begin the journey of transforming Liberia for the benefits of all Liberians.

Too long have we been segregated to few greedy people. I commit to the Liberian people that if you vote for me on October 10, we will change this country for the benefit of all Liberians.”

He called on Liberians to turn out en mass on Tuesday, October 10 to cast their votes for him and his running mate, Amb. Jeremiah Sulunteh.

“I not want to go second round; we will win in the first round next week.

I will make you and the Liberian people proud; we will fundamentally change everything about our country everything that is not done.

“We will build in those things that are good and working. We will make sure water, good roads, electricity.

After 170 years, we deserve a better Liberia, we must have a better Liberia so I depend on you on October 10 to vote the ANC.
