Monrovia – The National Under-17 football team of Liberia showcased their best performance in the Mano River Youth Under-17 Peace Cup held in Liberia against Sierra Leone. The young Liberian team dominated the tournament from match day one to match four, securing victories in all four games against Sierra Leone and ultimately being crowned champions of the MRU Men’s U-17 Peace Cup 2023.

Austin FC selected him through the drafting process for players who completed college in the USA. In 2020, Farkarlun left Liberia to pursue college soccer, with support from Ken Sports Management, owned by former Liberian professional player Arnold Kennedy.

River Gee County was named the official host County of the 2023-2024 National County Sports Meet, which was expected to kick off on Saturday, December 16, 2023, but Minister D. Monrovia – Liberian international midfielder Marcus Macaulay inspired his Malaysian club to victory in the Malaysian Challenge Cup over his international teammate Abu Kamara. The Liberian international helped his team PDRM win the 2023 Malaysian Challenge Cup after a 4-1 aggregate victory over fellow Liberian Abu Kamara’s Kuching FC. PDRM secured a 3-0 win in the first leg of the final and settled for a 1-1 draw in the second leg, ensuring they lifted the trophy.
