Both counties secured their places in the final in commanding fashion during the semifinal rounds.
Nimba County delivered a masterclass performance, hammering long-time rivals Margibi County 5–1. The one-sided encounter highlighted Nimba’s attacking depth and big-match experience, sending a clear message to their upcoming opponents.
Grand Kru, representing Liberia’s southeastern belt, was equally impressive. The “Kru Boys” brushed aside Grand Cape Mount County 3–0 in a performance defined by tactical discipline and clinical finishing.
